Prayers for France

I am deeply saddened by the attacks that occurred in France yesterday. It is hard to watch and see how far this world has strayed from Jesus Christ. It is also hard to stay encouraged as Christians. But despite these awful circumstances, we can rest assured that Christ is coming back soon and the final battle will ensue. And thankfully, we already know the outcome of that battle.

I will be thinking about and praying for France as they deal with the after p math.

Here are some lyrics from a hymn I think is appropriate for this time.

    Thanks so much for posting. I was really sad about it, too, but I couldn't bring myself to change my profile picture on Facebook because I felt like it was a "trend". I didn't want to be part of a trend, I just want to pray. Pray for France, pray for other countries who have experienced terrorist attacks, pray for the Middle East, pray for Israel, and pray for ISIS. I believe that we should pray for them that they turn around and become Christians, even though we know there's a 99.9% chance they won't. I just have to pray to forgive, y'know?

    Thank you so much for posting, Lauren!
    I agree with Emily, we just need to pray and forgive because if we don't, are we any better then them?
    France especially is in my prayers as well as all the other countries who are being targeted by ISIS.
    And thank you so much for the reminder that God is in control! It's something I really, really needed to hear and be reminded of. :)

      God being in control is something we all need to be reminded of. Too often we can get caught up in life and allow the things of life to frighten us and make us afraid but we need to remember that God is always there.

    So, so sad. I've thought a lot about all of that these past few days. Sorrow, death, tears, heartache, forgiveness.
