What Happens Next?! #4

G'day y'all! I thought it would be a good time to host another "What Happens Next?!" writing assignment. Since I don't have much time to write, I'd like to read some other people's writings! I created this prompt on my own. It's actually the opening sentences from a short story I was goofing off in. Never finished it, so I'm going to give you the prompt and see what kind of story you can come up with! I'd tell you what I wrote about, but then that might influence your writing :P Maybe I'll tell ya later...


The prompt is:

It was like being in a nightmare.

You could see something bad was about to happen 

and you tried to run, but it seemed like you 

weren't getting anywhere.

In this story, you DO NOT have to use my Hansen/O'Neal characters. If you'd like, go for it, otherwise, create new characters or use your own!

Anyways, as usual, send me your stories. Keep it under eight hundred words. Have a blast!

Deadline will be May 11th, giving you two weeks to write a little something :D Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
