Update on Me!

Hey-o readers! Hope this New Year is going well for all of you! I had a couple things I wanted to tell you guys about so I thought a quick "Update Post" would be the best way to do it.

First of all: I just want to say that I started an online college course this week. The class I'm taking is Old Testament Survey. It's definitely going to take up more of my time. Plus, this month is the start of Bible Quizzing. My church and a number of other churches in the area get together once a month to quiz on a book of the Bible. This year we are memorizing the book of Ephesians and will be quizzing on that. So from now until April, I will be studying Ephesians to prepare for the quizzing rounds, then the final rally in April. I am not sure how all of this will affect my blog. I know I will still have time to read your blogs and such but we will see...

Secondly, even though I just listed some things that may prevent me from blogging, I do want to schedule a couple story posts for you guys to read. I took a break from story posting over the Christmas break but I'd like to start up again. For this though, I am going to create a poll for you to see what you would like to read. I have three stories that I can post.

1. Anne Kenneth. This book is a book a wrote about an orphan (I've written quite a few stories on orphans!) who endures the loss of her mother and goes through the struggles of being an orphan. She isn't sure where she will live for the remainder of her teen years and she has a hard time accepting the fact that God made her an orphan. A couple from church tries to help Anne realize that God has a special plan for her. She just needs to yield her life to Him.

2. BBC Mystery Book: The Malicious Arson. This is one of the books I was telling you I wrote for my church friends. The mystery books following Me, my sister, and our three friends who are all sisters as we try to solve mysteries that occur at our church. The book is about 50 pages and although the book was written specifically for my friends, you might still enjoy it. This is the fourth or third book I wrote in the "series" but I believe it is the best written one so far. The girls are faced with adversity when they try to figure out who set fire to their church. However the girls are in for more than they bargained when they discover the arsonist is after a specific member of the BBC Church family!

3. The O'Neal Girls. I still have plenty of O'Neal Girls stories to post for you guys! I wasn't sure if you guys still wanted to read about the gals or if you wanted something new. Up next in the O'Neal stories includes a runaway, Indians, and an engagement, plus the girls continuing to develop their relationships with Lillian and Paul.

I created a poll on the sidebar for you guys to vote for which story you'd like to see on the blog. You have about a week to make your decision!

Thirdly, I am working on a new writing assignment. Hopefully I will have it ready by the end of the month for you guys!

Anywho, that's all I wanted to say! Thanks for faithfully following my blog and being so encouraging and uplifting! You guys are the best! <3

  1. All of these sound awesome, Lauren!! :D I'm sure I would enjoy all of them, so voting for just one may be hard. ;) My characters have told me a little about their chat with Anne. B-)

    1. :-) Yes, I forgot that Anne spoke with some of your characters ;) I believe you met the Edwards too. They're from Anne's story as well. According to the poll, it seems most of my readers are fans of the Hansen sisters with a few who would like to meet Anne and the BBC Mystery Gals.

    2. Ah, yes. I did "meet" the Edwards. He's a pastor right? I remember his name but not hers...*wracks brain* This is pathetic. xD

    4. Hehe, good to know I'm not the only one. ;) Yes, of course! I almost said Katherine, but I didn't want to say that and then it be wrong. :) I remembered David's name 'cause I have a David too. xD
