Zachariah Hansen

Zachariah Hansen is the husband of Alice Kendrick and the father of fourteen children: Albert, Belle, Cassandra, Danielle, Elsie, Faith, Gideon, Hannah, Isaac, Jinger, Keith, Lynn, Megan, and Nadia. Zachariah died when Albert was thirteen and Belle was twelve. He died during a wagon accident. He had been to town gathering supplies and on the trip home, the horses spooked and the wagon overturned. He was trapped underneath the wagon and couldn't escape. He was found dead by a neighboring farmer who took the body to Alice.

Zachariah had dark chocolate hair, like most of his children do, and a dark mustache. He was of average height and a sturdy man who worked hard on his farm. He was a caring man who never thought of himself but was always worried about his wife and children. He taught his children to work hard and respect others as well as to love the Lord.
